Taking inspiration from Felice Casorati's 'Eggs on a Book', photographers Metz + Racine and film director Mototake Makishima collaborated to create a 'still-life' short film. Set in the Italy of the 1940s against a backdrop of political unrest, the film explores the mysterious world of objects and the enigmatic symbolism of eggs. Opposing the era's unsettling sound landscape to the beautiful tonality of Casorati's colours, TUTTAVIA depicts the compelling history and emotion of war and its outcomes.
